From hands-on treatment and tailored exercise programs, to performance consultations that look at strength, recovery, sleep, nutrition, and training — we go beyond the standard physio model.
Our clinic, based inside Snap Fitness Rosedale, is more than just a treatment room. It’s a space where science meets movement, where recovery meets performance, and where you can take control of your health with guidance every step of the way.

Founder Alex Lowen brings over a decade of physiotherapy experience across both community health and elite sport. As an athlete, Alex represented New Zealand for 10 years with the Paddle Blacks canoe polo team, giving him a deep understanding of performance demands. Professionally, he has supported Swimming New Zealand at the World Championships, Commonwealth Games, and Olympic staging camps, as well as the New Zealand Olympic Committee at the Youth Commonwealth Games. His experience spans athletes of all levels and a wide range of sports.
Beyond high-performance sport, Alex is passionate about supporting the general public — from those recovering from injury to anyone wanting to move with confidence in daily life. His research into falls prevention for older adults earned him the Margret Gadson Memorial trophy and The Waitemata District Health Board Award for Excellence in Research for his thesis, highlighting his commitment to improving health and mobility across the community.
